When an email QR code makes sense
If you want customers to contact you without searching for your address, an email QR code is perfect. It suits print materials where there is no clickable link: posters, receipts, packaging and signs.
Ideas
- Quote requests: subject “Quote request - kitchen renovation”.
- Feedback: subject “Feedback about my visit”.
- Returns and support: subject “Return request - order number”.
- Job applications: subject “Application - Sales assistant”.
Reduce spam
Printed email addresses attract spam harvesters when written as text. A QR code hides the address from most scrapers. Use a dedicated address for each campaign so you can filter or retire it later.
