Frequently asked questions
Does it detect the language by itself?+
Yes. It scans the picture for the scripts it contains, then reads it with the matching languages together, so a page with English and Bangla works in one go. You can also pick languages by hand.
Can it read two languages on one page?+
Yes. Up to 4 languages are read together and the result is split into sections per language, each with its own copy button.
Does it work on PDFs and scans?+
Yes. Each PDF page is rendered and read like a picture, so scanned PDFs without selectable text work too.
Why are some words wrong?+
Blurry, tilted or very small text lowers accuracy. Try the Black & white clean-up, a sharper photo, or choose the language by hand. The result box is editable.
Is my file uploaded?+
No. Reading happens in your browser. Only the language data files are downloaded the first time you use a language.
